People’s Emergency Briefing

Westminster has been briefed on the climate and nature emergency. Now it’s our turn.

In November 2025, ten of the UK’s leading experts set out the evidence on climate and nature breakdown to more than 1,200 MPs, peers and leaders in Westminster.

The People’s Emergency Briefing is the 50-minute film of that night, presented by Chris Packham, with a former general, Jennifer Saunders, Deborah Meaden and members of the public reacting as they watch.

It’s frank about what’s at stake for our health, food, security and cost of living, and it’s clear that real solutions are already within reach.

The evening pairs the film with an open discussion facilitated by Sylvia Davies, so we can make sense of what we’ve seen together and talk about what we can do next.
