Weather Watchers & the science of climate change
Join us for a child-free session at Techniquest, catering exclusively for the over-50s.
We’ll be talking about the weather — and who in Wales doesn’t like to do that?!
From exploring the theme of extreme weather events in the Science Theatre through the live science show Extreme Earth, to viewing the Earth from space via satellite imagery in our Planetarium film We Are Guardians, that unveils the patterns of our beautiful planet and how it’s being impacted by climate change — you’ll have the opportunity to learn more about how our world is changing and the part weather plays in it all.
We’ll also be welcoming a variety of guest exhibitors, including Climate Cymru and a team from Keep Grangetown Tidy who can share more about the importance of day-do-day activities such as theirs on the environment. Keep an eye on the website for more information as the date approaches.
Tickets include a hot drink from Coffee Mania, just next door, enter via the Techniquest gift shop.
