After Hours: Eclipsed
Techniquest isn’t just for kids. It’s for big kids, too.
Our After Hours adult night is back in August for a special solar eclipse afterparty.
Come and celebrate this rare celestial event with like-minded folk. We’ll be hosting astronomy talks, planetarium shows and food and drink stalls, plus a games area in collaboration with Cardiff board game connoisseurs, Chance & Counters.
This is the closest the UK will get to a full eclipse until 2090! Free solar eclipse viewing glasses will be available to collect from Techniquest from 2pm on the day. Go and find yourself a west-facing viewing spot then gather with us afterwards to celebrate into the night.
